At Partners in Women's Healthcare, our goal is to provide the finest care possible to our patients. Our qualified and caring team of physicians, nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, and staff are here to meet your needs now and in the future.

Physicians for Women's Health and Fairbrother and Byrne Associates merged their practices on March 1st, 2004. As most of you know, our new corporation is now called Partners in Women’s Healthcare, PC. We continue to maintain our four office locations in Harrisburg, Lemoyne, Hershey, and Carlisle, and we have limited hours in Newport.

Fairbrother and Byrne Associates provided obstetrical and gynecological services in the Harrisburg area for well over 20 years. The providers in this practice included Dr. Paul Fairbrother and Dr. William Byrne, III along with their two Certified Nurse-Midwives, Diane Du Pont, CNM and Marianne Jolin, CNM.  However, as of Decemer 31, 2006, Dr. Fairbrother retired and Dr. Byrne joined a local gyn oncology group.  In August, 2009, Diane DuPont retired.

April 1st of 1997, Women’s Medical Associates and Dorko, Adams, Janson & Goedecke Associates merged to become known as Physicians for Women’s Health. The providers of Women’s Medical Associates included Dr. Brian Cohen, Dr. Margaret Grotzinger, and Dr. Thomas Wallin along with their nurse practitioner, Margaret (Belnap) Hummel, CRNP. Dorko, Adams, Janson & Goedecke Associates included Dr. Leslie Adams, Dr. Carl Dorko, Dr. John Goedecke, Dr. Russell Janson, and Dr. Thomas O’Malley.

Shortly after the merger of these two practices, Dr. Robert delRosario and Dr. Rose Eskin joined Physicians for Women’s Health. In January of 2004, we hired our 1st nurse-midwife, Gabriella H. Rumer, CNM.  Shortly thereafter, in 2005, we hired our 2nd nurse-midwife, Emily J. Geiman, CNM. Also in recent years, Dr. Carl Dorko and Dr. John Goedecke have retired from our practice.

Partners in Women’s Healthcare continued to grow and expand throughout the community by offering the services of yet another physician and two nurse practictioners. Rita Schlansky, CRNP joined our practice on July 1, 2007 and Dr. Scott Readence joined our practice on August 13, 2007. On July 28, 2008, we welcomed our third nurse practitioner, Beth Rudge, CRNP.
